Today at the shop, we received a Dell Studio 1555 laptop with a power issue. The computer would not stay on for more than 5 seconds.
We went ahead and disassemble the laptop, and we found out that the power button cable was broken.
Two of the 3 cables needed to be re-soldered. We have re-soldered the 2 little cables. Problem fixed! The laptop is once again …alive!!!!!
