Today at the shop we received a Acer TravelMate 2480-2779 laptop with a broken DC Jack/plug. The laptop would not charge/turn on with a broken jack.
The laptop would not turn on.
We went ahead and proceeded to disassemble the laptop to get to the DC Jack.
We located the exact DC jack replacement and proceeded the replacement.
Finally, we reassemble all the laptop back together. Problem Fixed!
